TJ manufactures globe valves up to two inches in size with threaded ends and markets them primarily to original equipment manufacturers of power transformers, oil switches and other electrical apparatus. These globe valves are furnished with or without samplers. Samplers can be furnished on the inlet end or outlet end of the valve.
TJ also manufactures a wide variety of electrical connectors, including bronze transformer ground clamps and transformer connectors, bronze spade connectors, copper compression terminal lugs, bronze switches handles and pull hooks.

VALVE COMPONENT INFORMATION
Application: Power transformers, oil switches and other electrical apparatus for loading, sampling or draining coolant.
Construction: Valves are full pattern heavy duty body with a union type or inside bonnet for optimum strength. The heavy duty design provides safe margin of protection form physical damage.
Disc: Valves are furnished with a nylon or teflon disc. These materials are impervious to most coolants. Nylon offers a conformity to any irregularities that may develop in the seat and provide a leakproof shutoff. Teflon has a very high resistance to wear yet it is resilient, which enables it to conform to irregularities and provide a tight shut off.
Handwheel: Cast from high strength bronze and may be used in most conditions without concern for electrolytic action cast from CDA 844 (81-3-9) and meets Spec. ASTM-B-584. Handwheels are available in die cast aluminum alloy.
